We have some fantastic caching video clips here also from Rob Thompson our footballing coach and Kelly Perkins our hurling/camogie coach and Dad Rory Hannick. Thanks to our contributors and our staff for getting involved and having a bit of fun. We hope you will give them a go at home and maybe even try some of the drills the staff were doing in their video!!!!!! Enjoy Active Week.

Caragh NS ‘Active SCHOOL Week’ takes place every June and is a really enjoyable part of the school year for everyone.
This year, because of COVID-19, it is not possible for this to go ahead so we are asking children to participate in ‘Active HOME Week‘ instead. The aim is to motivate our children to keep active at home by trying out NEW activities, taking on CHALLENGES and having FUN with family activities. To complete the challenge children have to find different ways of being active every day, making sure that this adds up to 60 minutes or more of physical activity and fill this in on their Challenge Card (If you don’t have a printer decorate your own card). All members of the family are encouraged, to take on the challenge but please remember this is optional, there is no pressure on anyone to complete it. *Remember if exercising outdoors, keep within 5 km from home, keeping 2 m distance from others. If you have a photo to share please send them onto your teacher throughout the week. Or you could share a photo to our twitter page either using #stayactivecaragh Mr. Sean Corkery
