Science Technology Engineering Maths

STEM plays a major role in the children's learning in our school.  We are very proud of our achievements to date in the area of STEM and we have been award the Primary Science Award on many occasion.  Each year our senior children take part in the Intel Mini Scientist day and we also hold our own science fair in school each year.  Parents get an opportunity to see some of the children's work in the area of science and STEM during the month of March.
Learning through STEM provides children with many opportunities for discovery, learning through exploration and develops their cognitive abilities and problem solving techniques.  It is also a wonderful opportunity to work in groups and understand group dynamics and their importance.
